Seven nights, Saturday to Saturday
The 7-Night All-Inclusive Surf Retreat runs for 7 nights, with all stays beginning and ending on a Saturday. The retreat includes 5 one-on-one surf lessons with daily video analysis, 5 yoga classes, 1 one-hour onsite massage or bodywork session and private round-trip airport transfers from SJO International Airport.
Flow extends the coaching frame over 6 months up to 24 months. The sequence begins with a 1:1 Mindset Optimization Call with a Surf Synergy Coach, then moves through Resting Metabolic Rate and Body Composition Analysis, VO2 Max Measurement & Assessment, Training Assessment, Strength and Grip Testing in a 1:1 training session, and an assessment review with Surf Synergy Flow Experts.
Monthly 1-on-1 check-in calls with a Flow Coach, a Training App with weekly workouts and Access to Connect carry Flow after the first assessments. Foundation Analytics is priced at USD 275.00 as a one-time fee, giving the measurement work its own named entry point beside the retreat and longer coaching program.
Alcoholic beverages, extra excursions and additional healing treatments beyond the included session sit outside the 7-night retreat inclusions. The exclusions keep the surf, yoga, bodywork and transfer package distinct from add-on time.
Surf, SUP and recovery water
Surf & SUP is delivered by nurturing instructors, placing board-based practice at the center of the method rather than leaving the stay as open beach time. Daily video analysis in the surf retreat gives the one-to-one lessons a review component across the five-session arc.
Ice bath and sauna sessions bring water and heat into the recovery side of the stay. A saltwater pool, infinity-edge pool, hot tub and sauna add further water and thermal facilities, so the body moves between surf instruction, pool time, heat and cold within the same resort setting.
Named people behind the program
Marcel Oliveira, Co-Founder, is an award-winning surfer with stated specialties in surf and stand-up paddleboard. His role gives the board-sport side of Surf Synergy a named practitioner reference rather than an anonymous activity team.
Misha Ramirez, Flow Program Coordinator, has been a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer since 2012. Her stated areas include functional training, mobility and endurance, which align the Flow program’s testing and weekly workouts with a named training lead.
Meals, yoga and dietary support
Gourmet meals form the food structure around the surf retreat. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and paleo needs can be accommodated, so meals have a stated support range alongside the activity schedule.
Daily yoga classes give the program a repeated movement practice away from the board. The 7-night retreat includes 5 yoga classes, placing mat-based work beside surf lessons and the included one-hour massage or bodywork session.
Arrival, rooms and planning details
Juan Santamaria International Airport is the arrival airport, with a 90-minute transfer time to Surf Synergy. The 7-night minimum stay, Saturday-to-Saturday structure and private round-trip transfers from SJO make the retreat’s travel rhythm part of the package rather than a separate arrival puzzle.
Casa Cielo Villa Deluxe Queen Room is priced at USD 3,590 per person for single occupancy in the 2025/2026 period, plus 13% tax per person. Casa Cielo Villa Primary Penthouse Suite is priced at USD 5,700.
Specially designed wheelchair-accessible guest rooms are available. Multilingual capabilities for international guests and bilingual guest services specialists support communication on property.
Whatever your age, fitness or skill level is the stated participation range for the retreat. Children under 5 do not receive access to surf or SUP lessons, yoga or breathwork classes, massages, ice baths, or use of the sauna and hot tub; the property is smoke-free.
Rooms in Jacó
Comfortable, beautifully designed rooms place the retreat in Jacó, giving the week a fixed base between instruction, meals and recovery facilities. The accommodation detail stays close to function: a room to return to between surf lessons, yoga, bodywork and the resort’s water and heat spaces.
